Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - South Dakota

Talkiatry is a clinician-led, virtual psychiatry practice offering W-2 employment for experienced PMHNPs. This is a 100% remote outpatient telepsychiatry role serving lower-to-moderate acuity adult populations (anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD). Standard session lengths are 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups. No inpatient, IOP, PHP, or crisis coverage required.

Clinicians have control over their schedule, weekly availability, session structure (within clinical standards), and patient population mix. Operational support includes scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing. An integrated care model provides in-house referral access to psychiatrists and therapists.

Responsibilities include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy, all delivered via telepsychiatry with accurate EMR documentation.

Requirements: Board-certified PMHNP-BC; active, unrestricted South Dakota license with autonomous practice authority; minimum 4 years post-graduate PMHNP experience; outpatient psychiatric experience; comfort with fully remote practice; strong clinical judgment and collaborative approach.

Compensation: Full-time W-2 with on-target earnings of $180k–$215k+, comprising base salary plus monthly productivity incentive (guaranteed during onboarding ramp).
