Short version: we collect your email when you subscribe, anonymous analytics on what you read, and nothing else unless you tell us. We never sell your data. You can delete it any time.
Who we are
RemoteRN ("we", "us", "our") operates remoternjobs.com. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
Information we collect
We collect (1) the email address you provide when you subscribe to The Brief or create an account; (2) standard web analytics via Google Analytics 4 — page views, referring sources, and city-level location, with IP addresses anonymized at collection; (3) error reports via Sentry when something breaks. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not run ad targeting on this site.
How we use it
Email addresses go to beehiiv to deliver The Brief and transactional messages. Usage data informs which jobs and guides we surface. We do not share your email with employers — when you click "Apply", you go directly to the employer's site and any data you submit there is governed by their policy.
Cookies
We set a session cookie if you sign in (required for authentication) and a preference cookie if you change a UI setting. Google Analytics sets two analytics cookies (`_ga` and a per-property `_ga_*` cookie) once you accept cookie consent. We do not use ad-tech, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from any email with one click. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@remoternjobs.com — we'll process within 30 days. EU/UK readers: under GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Data retention
Active subscriber emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Anonymous analytics aggregates are retained for 24 months. Sentry error logs are retained for 90 days.
Third parties we work with
Beehiiv (newsletter delivery), Supabase (database + authentication), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics 4 (web analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), Stripe (payments, future). Each runs under its own privacy policy.
