AI surfaces and suggests. A nurse reviews and approves. Every listing.
Track the source, not the aggregator
We maintain a registry of 150+ employers — payers, telehealth platforms, health systems, health tech, pharma, and a few specialty staffing partners. We watch their official career pages and ATS feeds (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday). We do not pull from Indeed, LinkedIn, or any aggregator.
Filter with a nurse-built keyword set
Each source has its own keyword include and exclude lists. Includes: 'utilization review', 'telephonic', 'clinical documentation', 'case management', 'RN consultant'. Excludes: 'bedside', 'on-site only', 'must reside within X miles'. The filter is opinionated on purpose.
AI does the first read
An AI reviewer (Claude) reads each surfaced posting and pre-fills a recommendation: approve, send to human review, or reject. It also extracts the cleaned title, license states, salary, specialty, and a draft description, and flags anything suspicious — hybrid disguised as remote, vague compensation, staffing-agency reposts. The AI never publishes; it just makes the human's review faster.
A nurse reviews and approves
Every listing that goes live on RemoteRN is approved by a licensed RN. The nurse sees the AI's recommendation and reasoning alongside the original posting, edits anything wrong, and clicks Accept (or Reject with a reason). The accept button is the human's — always.
Expire aggressively
We re-poll every source daily. If a posting is removed by the employer, it disappears from RemoteRN. No 30-day-old corpse listings.
What we will (and won't) do
- We never re-post a role from an aggregator like Indeed or LinkedIn
- We never publish a hybrid or 'remote within 50 miles' role as 'remote'
- We never accept payment to skip the review step
- Every apply link goes directly to the employer — no redirects, no lead-gen pop-ups
- We label every Featured listing as Featured
