Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Iowa

Talkiatry is a clinician-led, virtual psychiatry practice hiring experienced PMHNPs for fully remote outpatient care. You'll see lower-to-moderate acuity adult populations (anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, PTSD) via telepsychiatry, with standard 60-minute intakes and 30-minute follow-ups. No inpatient, IOP, PHP, or crisis coverage.

The practice provides full operational support: scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing assistance. Clinicians have control over their schedule, session structure within clinical standards, and patient population preferences. An integrated care model offers in-house referrals to psychiatrists and therapists.

W-2 employment with on-target earnings of $180k–$215k+ (base plus monthly productivity, guaranteed during onboarding ramp). Requires PMHNP-BC board certification, active unrestricted Iowa license with autonomous practice authority, and minimum 4 years post-graduate PMHNP experience in outpatient psychiatric care including comprehensive evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy. Must be comfortable in a fully remote telepsychiatry model and proficient with EMRs.
