Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare.

We're looking for passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care to the Medicaid population. We handle the administrative side — billing, insurance, credentialing — so you can focus on care.

Collaborative practice support: Where Massachusetts requires a practice agreement with a patient care team physician, we'll help connect you with an independently licensed collaborating physician. Clinical decisions remain yours.

Remote practice model: Enjoy the independence of private practice with the backing of a group — from wherever you work.

What you'll bring

• An active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in Massachusetts
• National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
• Prescriptive authority, active DEA registration, and Massachusetts controlled substance registration
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications
• Your own malpractice coverage ($1M per occurrence / $3M aggregate)
• Experience with EHR systems and other digital tools
• A quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office, plus your own computer and reliable internet, for confidential virtual sessions
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is preferred, and additional languages are a plus
