Remote nurse trainer for a workers' compensation risk management company. Develops and administers training curriculum for triage nurses, monitors QA trends, and provides remedial training. Requires a BSN and unencumbered RN license plus 2+ years of training experience.
The Nurse Trainer is responsible for developing, assessing, administering, and revising training material for all positions in a clinical setting. This role reviews all existing training material, identifies areas in which it is lacking, and creates new supplemental material and training content to complement existing material. The goal of this process is to ensure that the triage program has adequate substance to determine whether existing nurses are adequately meeting job requirements and to equip all potential new nurses with the information and experience necessary to fulfill their new roles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are important in this position, as these trainers not only create and edit written training material, but also interface with existing nurses at all levels to ascertain their training. As such, strong memory skills, close attention to detail, and high adaptability are all beneficial for the position.
This is a remote position.
