Job description

Oscar Medical Group is hiring fluent Spanish speaking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our remote Virtual Health Assessment team in a part time capacity. The VHA program outreaches and virtually engages Oscar Health Insurance members in evaluation and management visits. You may also be cross-trained to support Virtual Urgent Care. Responsibilities include performing preventative care screenings, medication reconciliation, diagnosing medical conditions, health coaching, referrals, and treatment. Outreach to chronically ill members and those with lower probability of seeing their PCP. Requires 3+ years outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience. Hourly rate $65-75. Must be licensed in Georgia and one of: Florida, Texas, or Ohio (for NP bilingual: Florida only).

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative care screenings, medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions, provide health coaching, referrals, and treatment
  • Outreach to chronically ill members and those with lower probability of seeing their PCP
  • Identify areas to improve member's medical journey by increasing access to care
  • Cross-train into urgent care and/or virtual primary care service line
  • Interact with members virtually including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

What you bring

  • Fluency in Spanish
  • NP or PA degree from accredited program
  • Board Certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • Compact RN (NP only)
  • Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement and/or managing HEDIS quality measures
  • 3+ years outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
