The Opportunity

The Nurse Auditor reviews medical records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and appropriate billing within the revenue cycle. The role supports financial integrity by validating clinical documentation against coding and reimbursement guidelines. Reviews patient charts and medical records for accuracy and completeness. Validates clinical documentation against coding and billing requirements. Identifies discrepancies in medical necessity, documentation, or coding. Prepares audit findings and communicates results to providers and revenue cycle staff. Collaborates with clinical and billing teams to resolve identified issues. Ensures compliance with payer requirements and regulatory standards.
