Telehealth Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Remote) - New York License

Job description

Provide clinical care via telehealth to patients with opioid use disorder (OUD) and narrow mental health conditions. Conduct intake and follow-up visits, determine treatment plans, prescribe medications, use motivational interviewing, and document in EHR. Work in a team-based model with triage nurses and care coordinators. Full-time, Monday-Friday 9-7pm and weekends 9-5pm. Requires board-certified NP or PA, active DEA license or willingness to obtain, and full licensure in New York. Additional licenses in NJ, PA, VA, or MD a plus. No prior MOUD experience required; training provided.

Key responsibilities

  • Determine individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Use motivational interviewing and behavioral interventions
  • Monitor treatment response and manage medications
  • Provide patient education on OUD and MOUD
  • Document all patient encounters in EHR

What you bring

  • Board Certified NP or PA
  • Active DEA license (schedule 3N, 4, 5) or willingness to obtain
  • Fully licensed in New York
  • Patient-centered, non-judgmental care
  • Comfortable with remote telehealth environment
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and psychopharmacology
