Job description

Ophelia is a telehealth startup providing medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD). As an Advanced Practice Practitioner, you will provide clinical care via telehealth, including intake and follow-up visits, medication management, behavioral interventions, and patient education. You will work collaboratively with triage nurses and care coordinators. No prior MOUD experience required; training provided. Must be board-certified NP or PA with active DEA license (or willingness to obtain) and fully licensed in New Jersey. Additional licenses in PA, NY, VA, or MD a plus. Full-time, remote within US, with patient care hours Monday-Friday 9-7pm and weekends 9-5pm (weekend coverage for experienced providers).

Key responsibilities

  • Determine individualized treatment plans for OUD patients
  • Use motivational interviewing and behavioral interventions
  • Monitor treatment response and manage medications
  • Provide patient education on OUD and MOUD
  • Document encounters in EHR
