Job description

Ophelia is a telehealth startup providing medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) and mental health care. As an APP, you will conduct intake and follow-up visits via telehealth, determine treatment plans, prescribe medications, provide behavioral interventions, and document in EHR. Work in a team-based model with triage nurses and care coordinators. Patient care hours: Mon-Fri 9-7pm, Sat-Sun 9-5pm. No MOUD experience required; training provided. Must be board certified NP or PA, have active DEA license (or willingness to obtain), and be fully licensed in Delaware. Additional licenses in NJ, NY, VA, or MD a plus.

Key responsibilities

  • Determine individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Use motivational interviewing and behavioral interventions
  • Monitor treatment response and prescribe medications
  • Provide patient education on OUD and MOUD
  • Document all encounters in EHR

What you bring

  • Board Certified NP or PA
  • Active DEA license (or willingness to obtain)

  • Comfortable with telehealth technology
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and psychopharmacology
