Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute – New Patient Referral Team is a remote-based team committed to ensuring timely and seamless access to cancer care across all Levine Cancer sites. Our team is composed of care coordinators and a registered nurse who specialize in reviewing incoming referrals from non-Atrium practices. We carefully assess each referral, request additional medical records as needed, and direct patients to the appropriate clinic based on their diagnosis and geographic location. Our work involves close collaboration with both internal departments and external referring offices to ensure patients are connected to the right care team as quickly and efficiently as possible.
This is a remote RN position , , with standard hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Looking for an experienced oncology nurse that is detail oriented and able to work independently to review referrals and our Levine Cancer guidelines to direct referral timing, additional records needed, and location/departments where referrals should be directed within our facility.
