Job description
Charlie Health is adding Nurse Practitioners to provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments via virtual telehealth. Responsibilities include patient education, collaboration with support staff, participation in treatment team meetings, and assisting Medical Directors. Requires PMHNP license in Virginia, MSN with psychiatric/mental health emphasis, and 3+ years experience as a PMHNP. IOP, PHP, or IP experience preferred. Position is 40 hours/week (32 clinical, 8 administrative).
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments
- Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits, and outcome expectations
- Work with support staff to ensure proper patient communication and follow-up
- Participate in treatment team meetings
- Assist Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks as needed
What you bring
- Active PMHNP license in Virginia
- MSN with psychiatric/mental health emphasis
- 3+ years experience as a PMHNP
- Experience with children, teens, young adults, and adults
- Proficiency in EHR and Microsoft Office
