Job description
Charlie Health is adding Nurse Practitioners to provide virtual behavioral health care. Responsibilities include medication management, diagnostic evaluations, medical assessments, patient education, and participation in treatment team meetings. This is a remote role requiring a PMHNP license in South Carolina. The position is 40 hours per week (32 clinical, 8 administrative). Requires 3+ years experience as a PMHNP, with IOP/PHP/IP experience preferred. Must have MSN with psychiatric/mental health emphasis.
Key responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for medication management, diagnostic evaluations, and medical assessments
- Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits, and outcome expectations
- Work with support staff to ensure proper patient communication and follow-up
- Participate in treatment team meetings
- Assist Medical Directors with patient-facing tasks as needed
What you bring
- Active PMHNP license in South Carolina
- 3+ years experience as a PMHNP
- Experience with children, teens, young adults, and adults
- Proficiency in EHR and Microsoft Office
