Job description

Oscar Medical Group is hiring Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for the Virtual Health Assessment team. This role involves virtually engaging Oscar Health Insurance members in evaluation and management visits, performing preventative care screenings, medication reconciliation, diagnosing conditions, and providing health coaching. May also support Virtual Primary Care and Virtual Urgent Care. Requires 3+ years outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience. Bilingual Spanish fluency required. Must hold NP or PA license in specified states. Base pay $130,000-$140,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform preventative care screenings, medication reconciliation, diagnose conditions, provide health coaching and referrals
  • Outreach chronically ill members and engage those with lower PCP visit probability
  • Cross-train into urgent care and virtual primary care
  • Interact with members virtually for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

What you bring

  • Active NP or PA license in required states
  • 3+ years outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care
  • Bilingual Spanish fluency
  • Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement and/or HEDIS quality measures
