Nurse Clinical Educator - Registered Nurse

Job description

As a Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator with CVS Health, you will use your clinical skills to educate patients and caregivers on complex Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) therapies by providing infusion training and clinical support. This is a per diem role working approximately 24-25 hours/week. You will consult with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and sales to coordinate patient care. Assist patients initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH. Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting. Participate in on-call as needed. Travel to patients within Arizona, mostly within a three-hour drive of Phoenix. When not traveling, work from home (approximately 10-20% of the time). Must reside in Phoenix Metro Area.

Key responsibilities

  • Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and sales team to coordinate patient plan of care
  • Assist patients initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH
  • Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting
  • Participate in on-call rotation as business needs require
  • Travel to patient homes within Arizona for infusion training and clinical support

What you bring

  • Active unrestricted RN license in Arizona
  • Two years critical care/acute care hospital experience with high-tech infusions or two years high-tech home infusion experience
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal customer service skills
  • Advanced computer skills
