Job description

The Clinical CARE Specialist is a telephonic role within CVS Health's Meritain Pharmacy Solutions, providing clinical support to members regarding pharmacy benefits, medication management, and prior authorization. Responsibilities include conducting telephonic outreach to members, reviewing medication regimens, providing education on drug interactions and adherence, and coordinating with pharmacists and prescribers. Requires an active RN, LPN, or LVN license in any US state, with at least 2 years of clinical experience. Strong communication and computer skills needed. This is a work-from-home position with occasional travel for team meetings.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct telephonic outreach to members regarding pharmacy benefits and medication management
  • Review medication regimens for safety, efficacy, and adherence
  • Provide education on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication use
  • Coordinate with pharmacists, prescribers, and other healthcare providers
  • Assist with prior authorization and appeals processes

What you bring
